THE BRIEF

BY THE CANADIAN LAW REVIEW

What is 'The Brief'?

'The Brief’ is an informal academic publication hosted by the Canadian law review, that hosts a space for legal advocacy and discussion. As opposed to our coveted ‘Canadian Law Review Journal’, the publication process at the Brief occurs much more frequently and features more condensed, current, and broad issues in Canadian law. From legal opinions on cases or proposed bills, to discussions about recent or upcoming legal issues, to analyses of Canadian legislative frameworks, we seek to inspire a future generation of legal scholars to think, research, and write. Each issue will feature 5-8 articles, each article being 2-3 pages long.
