MENTORSHIP
The Ontario Mentorship Program
Starting Fall 2024, we will be pairing pre-law Ontario high school students from diverse and non-traditional backgrounds with university students, law students, legal scholars, law admissions counsellors, law professors, and alumni (mentors). From choosing an undergraduate degree to planning the LSAT to gaining volunteering and extracurricular experience to applying for internships to even just needing a support system, we seek to provide advice, guidance and mentorship to young students aspiring to go to law school in Canada or abroad. The mentorship program is selective, rigorous, and prestigious.
Of approximately 10 mentee seats, 2 are reserved for Indigenous students, 2 are reserved for Northern Ontario Students, 2 are reserved for low-income students, 2 are reserved for 2SLQGBTQ+ students, and 2 are reserved for Black and other racialized students.
Mentee recruitment and applications will open in mid-October 2024. Mentor applications are officially open. Click below to learn more.
