ACCESS TO JUSTICE

ACCESS TO JUSTICE SPEAKER SERIES

The Access to Justice Series features powerful conversations with legal professionals, advocates, and community leaders who speak openly about the barriers and inequities that continue to shape Canada’s legal system. What makes the series unique is its grounding in lived experience. Speakers don’t just discuss the law in abstract terms—they share their personal journeys through the legal system: the challenges they faced, the gaps they witnessed, and the reforms they believe are necessary. The series offers a rare opportunity for youth from marginalised backgrounds to see themselves reflected in legal conversations. It demystifies legal language, brings complex issues down to earth, and encourages listeners to think critically about justice, not just as a concept, but as something that must be fought for and reimagined every day. In doing so, the Access to Justice Series serves as both an educational tool and a call to action.

Speaker 1: Omar Ha-Redeye

Speaker 2: Louisa Winn
