THE BRIEF

BY THE CANADIAN LAW REVIEW

DEADLINE

All submissions for Issue 2 of The Brief are due:

​​​August 31st, 2024 at 11:59 E.S.T. and must be sent to eic.brief@canadianlawreview.ca

AUTHOR ELIGIBILITY

To apply to be a Writer at the Brief, you must at least have completed high school and are either: ​​

  1. Currently enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate or collegiate program; or,

  2. Currently enrolled in or have completed a graduate program; or, 

  3. Have work experience post-high school of more than 2 years.

ISSUE-SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

To publish in our second issue: Interjurisdictional - Canadian Law in Global Contexts, your paper must:​​

  1. Discuss issues related to international law and Canadian domestic law.​

  2. Relate to current legal problems with global implications.

COMMITMENT & EXPECTATIONS

All authors must be willing to dedicate a minimum of 6-8 hours per week to writing, editing, meeting, and general availability.
